Why it matters to you: When agents compete by offering sales numbers, the main objective is to get a signed listing agreement. This competition often results in overpricing and later price reductions. The delay in pricing correctly from the start means the home gets fewer showings, and can sit until the seller price reduces. Ultimately, the delay means a lower price and less money for the seller.

A better approach is to hire your agent based on their knowledge, credibility, and likability. Then, have a conversation about how to price your home.

2.  Having an agent understand your needs and goals. I take the time to listen.

Why it matters to you: An agent needs to understand your “why” and have an understanding of the big picture to truly guide you. Why are you moving, what are your goals, aspirations, and “must-haves?

3. Experienced, strategic representation. I have 20 years of experience in selling every kind of home in every kind of real estate market good, bad, and ugly.
